(“GPlusMedia”), owner of the CareerEngine Job Site Engine, is committed to protecting the privacy of users of the CareerEngine Partner Network of Job Sites (“CareerEngine Sites”). This commitment is demonstrated in the structure of our databases, programming, and the use of password protected secure pages for the transfer of all sensitive data.
In choosing to use our websites and online services, you are indicating your complete acceptance of our Privacy Policy, to our use and disclosure of the data that you provide, and agree to receive emails and other correspondence as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

- GPlusMedia collects personal information as entered by users themselves upon registration, which is required for resume submission and JobMail subscription.
- GPlusMedia collects company information and personal information of the contact person at the registered company as required for recruiting activities within the CareerEngine Partner Network of Job Sites.
- GPlusMedia collects personal information as required when responding to submitted inquiries and complaints.
- Maintenance of Collected Information
GPlusMedia strives to maintain that all collected personal information is correct, intact and updated.
- Safety Precautions
- All personal information collected from users in handled with the greatest care taking the appropriate corporate and technical safety measures to prevent loss, defacing, and leakage through unauthorized access.
- Except for authorized personnel, all GPlusMedia employees are prohibited from accessing users' personal information. This information is stored securely in a safe location, and will never be removed from this area.
- All GPlusMedia employees are bound by a confidentiality agreement, and must observe the security policy as set by the company.
- Viewing, Editing or Deleting Personal Information
GPlusMedia respects all user’s rights regarding private information. We will respond appropriately to all requests to delete, edit, and view collected information.
- Using the online interface; users themselves can view, edit, delete and change the level of disclosure they desire.
- GPlusMedia will respond to all individual user requests received online having confirmed that the request was made from the individual concerned.
- JobMail subscription can also be managed by users themselves using the functionality provided on the CareerEngine Sites.
- Sharing and Disclosing Information with Third-Parties
GPlusMedia will not disclose your personal information to any third-party except under the following circumstances:
- Users agree to the of their private information
- Users apply for a job advertised on a CareerEngine Site
- Users allow employers access to their resume via the searchable resume database.
- Users request GPlusMedia to do so.
- GPlus is requested to disclose information to the authorities
- The User's life, health or property is at risk.
In the case that user information analyzed to identify statistical trends or for the purpose of improving the service provided, it is ensured that the information analyzed cannot be used to identify any individual user.
- Responding to Requests from Individual Users
- GPlusMedia backs up and retains all information collected from users.
- In the event that a user cancels their registration, GPlusMedia backs up and retains the prior collected information in order to prevent problems due to processing failure and in case investigation into any alleged violation of site rules is required.
- Information collected from users will not be made available in the public domain via a CareerEngine Site's online interface after cancellation has been made.
- Once a username is created, it cannot be deleted in order to prevent any future confusion.
- Use of Statistical Data
- GPlusMedia will occasionally process user information to obtain statistical and demographic data, such data will not contain any information which could be used to identify any given individual.
- Information pertaining to types of hardware/software used as well as location data may also be recorded for statistical purposes; this information will not be used in connection with personal data.
- Privacy Policy Limitations
- GPlusMedia is not responsible for information dispensed voluntarily, which may be collected and abused by a third party. Neither GPlusMedia nor its affiliates will be held responsible for any such abuses, losses and damages.
- Our services contain links to other sites. Unless otherwise stated, these third-party sites are independent from our services and are bound by their own privacy policies. GPlusMedia is in no way responsible for the activities or policies of such sites.
- When linking to another site, you should review the privacy policy stated on that site.
- Management of Personal Information
GPlusMedia strictly manages personal information and has appointed a manager in charge of personal information, employee education and information security measures to prevent information being leaked, diverted, or altered.
